Facility Information
This outdoor seasonal facility offers a 25 yard L-shaped zero depth pool, an interactive water playground, two 129' spiral water slides, sand volleyball court, sand playground equipment area, adult deck with heated spa, large tanning area, full-service concession stand and concession picnic area, clean, supervised bathhouse with showers and coin lockers and award-winning licensed lifeguards.
Hours of Operation
The Water Park is open yearly from early June through late August. Hours of operation are Monday-Sunday, unless otherwise noted, 1:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. Season passes are sold as well as daily admissions. There are various times for adult swim as well.
Programming
The Water Park holds a variety of different swim lessons for all ages. There are daily lessons as well as evening lessons available. You can also inquire about private lessons as well. The Wood Dale Park District Water Rats Swim Team also hold practices as well as Meets at the Wood Dale Water Park.
Pool Closings
The pool will be closed for public swimming if the air temperature is 68 degrees or below, lightning and/or thunder in the area, rain and other threatening weather conditions. A closure may occur if there are less than 20 people in the Water Park and weather conditions are such that it may tend to discourage additional persons from swimming. If the pool is closed at 7:30pm (for evening sessions) it will remain closed for the remainder of the evening.
If the pool closes due to inclement weather, no refunds will be issued.

Safety Breaks
The Beach conducts safety breaks every day from 2:50pm - 3:10pm. When safety break is called, all patrons must exit the pool and rest for 20 minutes to prevent any possible distressed swimmers due to exhaustion, heat related illness or dehyrdation. At this time, adults 18 years of age and older are allowed to swim in the main pool.
Rentals
You may rent the pool out for special occasions or parties either as a semi-private or private rental. Please see attached rental form for additional information and fees.
