Waffle 5k Shuffle

Save the Date! 2013 Race date is Saturday, June 15th
The all new Wood Dale Park District 2013 Waffle 5k Shuffle is here. This race / walk is designed for all ages, all levels of fitness and running skills. Complimentary waffles will be served to participants crossing the finish line. The race will start on School Street across from the Library and end across from Franzen Grove on Wood Dale Road.

Timing and Results
The Wood Dale Park District will be using Race Time, to assist with registration, advertising and rets. Results will be posted on the web after the race is complete.

Day of Race Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. and will end promptly at 8:45 a.m.
All Advanced Registration must be received by 12 p.m. on Friday, June 14th.
Race & Age Groupings
Male and Female Separated Age Brackets: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over If you are registering the day of the race please be on time – Day of race registration ends promptly at 8:45 a.m.
Fees
$25 if pre-registered by 6/14/13,
$20 per person for Family/Friends (Groups of 3 or more registered on the same day and time. Only available if you pre-register.)
$30 on the day of the race

Race Time: Starts promptly at 9:00 am.
Awards
Overall male and female winners in the 5k will receive $50 gift card and are excluded from individual age category prizes. Winners in each age category for both male and female will receive a medallion.
Runner Packets
Packets may be picked up at the Wood Dale Park District, 111 E. Foster on Thursday, June 13th or Friday, June 14th.
Day of Race (Saturday): At the registration tent. 7:30 – 8:45 a.m.
Safety
For safety reasons, pets, roller blades, skateboards or bicycles of any kind will not be allowed during the 5K run / walk. Persons with strollers will be required to line up in the back of the starting line. Police and volunteer marshals will staff intersections and direct traffic, but the course will not be completely closed to traffic.
