Sunsational Summer Camp

Entering Kindergarten - 5th Grades (Fall of 2013)

Have a blast this summer at the Wood Dale Park District! Our camp offers flexibility of schedules for parents and fun for kids! Participants entering Kindergarten - 5th grades will be actively engaged in a wide variety of activities ranging from creative crafts to exhilarating games. Activities are based around a special theme each week. Campers will enjoy two afternoons of swmming and a field trip each week. An afternoon snack is provided each day. Participants are also able to register for Camp Swim Lessons. An Extended Care option offers earlier drop-off and later pick-up times to parents. Our goal is to provide a safe environment and positive experience for your child this summer. Space for each age group is limited, please register early!

Registration Information

Registration packets are available at the Recreation Complex office beginning Monday, March 11th. Parents must register their child for camp in person. Fees will not be pro-rated or refunded for missed days or vacations. If you would like your child to participate in swim lessons during camp, you must register separately for swim lessons.

Payments

Registration and payment must be recieved by the Friday before a new week. If spots are available, registration will be taken on a first come, first serve basis for the current week, at the Recreation Supervisors aprroval. Don't forget to register early to secure your spot! We are no longer taking a 50% deposit to guaraantee a spot in camp.

Early-Bird Registration Discount: Reigster before May 1st and receive a $25.00 discount!

Refunds

Refund requests for camp must be made in writing, a minimum of 3 business days prior to the start of each week. All refunds will be subject to a $2 processing fee. Refunds will not be granted if they are received within 3 business days of the start of a new week. Refunds will not be prorated for vacation or missed days of camp.

 

2013 Summer Camp Dates & Times:

June 17th - August 9th

Full Day: 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Summer School: 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Extended Care: 7:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
